WORKSHOP: Reiki

Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing technique for stress reduction, relaxation and healing. It is administered by "laying on of hands" and is based on the Universal (Rei) Life Force Energy (Ki) that flows through us all.

In Reiki Level I, the student is attuned to the first degree of Reiki energy and is taught various hand positions for administering Reiki.

In Reiki Level II, the first three Reiki symbols are taught and another attunement is given. After this, the symbols can be used to increase the strength of Reiki energy, deal with mental and emotional issues, and do distant healing.
